UPDATE NOTE REGARDING FINAL PAYMENT PAID AFTER THE EARLY BIRD DEADLINE of JULY 15
- If your 2nd payment was due by 7/15 and you didn’t pay by July 15, you will notice an extra charge ($50) for your designated 2nd payment. This is the difference between Early Bird and Non-Early Bird that you owe since you are not paying within the EB time frame. Please click the “Late” option below to make your final payment. Please make sure you click on the right one.
- If your final payment is due by 8/1, click on the option for the final payment due by or before 8/1.
- If you have a question about your final payment, contact In**@Th**********************.org.
THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS TO SECURE YOUR SEATS IN THE BALLROOM
Step 1 – fill out the reservation form; Step 2 – make a payment. Until you make a payment or pay in full, your seats will not be secured in the ballroom.
There are three options for securing your seats after you make your reservations, but there are conditions, so please read the info here carefully and then scroll down and click on step 1 to RSVP and Step 2 to make a payment.
OPTION 1: Pay in full and be done with it! (Recommended if you can do this. No refunds)
OPTION 2: Pay 1/2 with the final payment due before or by July 15 (no refunds)
- Pay the first 1/2 of EB now and the second 1/2 by July 15. With this plan, we will hold your seats until July 15.
- After July 15, your seats are NO LONGER SECURE if we have not received your payment.
- If the event is sold out and you still want to attend, you will owe the second payment + $50 (the difference between the Early Bird and After Early Bird Rate) by July 20th (unless another arrangement has been made). After July 20th, we will assume you have no intentions of attending. If we haven’t heard from you, your seats will become available for the waitlist.
- If the event is not sold out and we have not heard from you to make a final plan, we will assume you are NOT planning on attending. The partial payment will go to our scholarship fund, and your seats will be made available for others.
*Unfortunately, we don’t have enough capacity to track down 2nd payment, so please put it on your calendar and contact us before the deadline.
OPTION 3: Final Payment due by Aug. 1, with a payment now (at the after-early bird rate) –
- Pay the first 1/2 now and 2nd 1/2 by Aug 1 – we will hold your seats until Aug. 1.
- After Aug. 1, your seats are NO LONGER SECURE if we have not received your 2nd payment.
- If the event is sold out by Aug. 1st and we haven’t heard from you, we will assume you no longer want to attend and forfeit your seats and initial payment. So please mark your calendar.
- If the event is not sold out and we have not heard from you to make a final plan, we will assume you are NOT planning on attending. The partial payment will go to our scholarship fund, and your seats will be made available for others in preparation for the ballroom closure on Aug. 15.
BALLROOM RESERVATIONS WILL CLOSE ON AUG. 15 OR SOONER IF SEATS SELL OUT:
- For planning purposes, depending on the capacity at that time, we will keep it closed, or we may open it back up to sell additional seats.
- When we close reservations, unpaid couples will roll over to the waitlist.
- We will then audit the ballroom situation, and if we find we have additional capacity, we may open up additional tables. We will let the waitlist know first and then others.
- You can still make reservations for the waitlist after Aug.15 to get updates if seats become available and get on the list for future Seattle Fall Balls.

- Valet Parking – More info coming soon.
The overnight stay at the beautiful Hyatt is separate from the Seattle Fall Ball rate. Overnight stay isn’t required for attendance but many choose to stay overnight. It is fun to see everyone around the hotel the next day. We highly recommend an overnight stay (without kids). A discounted rate applies for the days before and after. If you have registered for The Ball, paid in full and have not received the link for the hotel discount send us an email Se*************@Th**********************.org.
This is an example agenda that is meant to give an idea of what the evening flow will look like for your planning. It is subject to change as we make final arrangements for this very special evening.

Regular or VIC Seating?
VIC stands for Very Important Couple. Although we are all special in our own way, VICs are extra special on this evening because they chose to pay more to attend so we all can pay less. Without the co-sponsorship of VICs this event would not be possible.
VICs are acknowledged in the printed program and at the event. The VIC Seating is usually located in the first two rows around the dance floor. Tier 1 generally around the dance floor and tier two second row around the dance floor.
If you have questions or challenges registering or making your payment, please do the following (in order):
- If you have a Table Host, reach out to them for assistance
- If you don’t have a Table Host or they were not able to help resolve the issue, Call/Text 206.9926856 or email Se*************@Th**********************.org to ask for assistance with registering. We can have a team member register you over the phone!

SEATTLE FALL BALL HISTORY
Seattle Fall Ball has become known as the Pacific Northwest Premier Black Marriage Ball, where couples enjoy a fun evening of elegance that includes dinner, live entertainment, dancing, socializing, networking, and more.
The Seattle Fall Ball is not a business venture, a fundraiser gala, or a typical social event. It is a Moment in a Movement. The energy is positive and electric, and the experience is transcending and euphoric.
Seattle Fall Ballers share a deep awareness that the SFB is not just about the program, dinner, or dancing. Ballers of all ages and stages understand that the Ball is about having a unique experience created when we bring us all together in celebration of the intersection where we all find sameness in being Black and Married.
Seattle Fall Ballers, for this reason, come together as an affinity group to support each other, be in the moment with each other, celebrate, and break bread. We desire that all who attend will embody and covet the essence of the Seattle Fall Ball and the overall mission of the Black Marriage Movement.
Together, Seattle Fall Ballers keep standing strong for their marriage and the beloved community of Married Couples we have become!
Ballers enjoy seeing each other each year at the Seattle Fall Ball! We hope you join the Seattle Fall Baller Facebook group to keep in touch and learn more about what is happening leading up to the Seattle Fall Ball!
Seattle Fall Ballers are Black, Married, and Still Standing Strong!
